Food Scene
The chips and salsa are addicting, the atmosphere and staff are always awesome. It is a busy place on Friday and Saturday nights. The bar seems to be popular. The tacos are pretty good, but the burritos and enchiladas are great and the beans and rice seemed quite authentic. The margaritas are excellent also.

My favorite place to eat in Joshua Tree! Always fresh, great food that the whole family loves! Breakfast and lunch are both delicious! The eggs Benedict is delicious as well as the ahi burger. My kids love the large fruit cup too. Fresh fruit of all varieties!

A great spot to grab that last burrito before heading into the park or to grab that first burrito after leaving. Good authentic southern California Mexican food! Also great chips, salsa and guacamole!

Amazing and unique pizza ideas, very affordable for the slice! Awesome outdoor area to eat and just enjoy the ambiance of the local scene! Cannot recommend enough if going through to Joshua tree! Stop in and enjoy some slices!

Quiet, cozy, welcoming cafe with caring and helpful staff. The coffee is spectacular with high quality beans in a variety of roasts. The shop is right next to a yoga studio so it almost forces a quiet, calming vibe. Wonderful place that many hikers and climbers must visit when leaving Joshua Tree National Park.

The shop is right next to a yoga studio so it almost forces a quiet, calming vibe. Wonderful place that many hikers and climbers must visit when leaving Joshua Tree National Park.
Drinks & Nightlife
The Western decor, the atmosphere, the service, the live music, the drinks and the food I love everything about this place! The hardest thing for me is deciding what to order. There are some great options here for lovers of Tex-Mex food. I think my current favorites are the Coyote Chipotle Burger (all burgers are made from grass-fed Angus beef raised without hormones/antibiotics) with sweet potato fries, the Baja Chicken, the BBQ Ribs, the Battered Fish Tacos and the Grilled Mahi-Mahi Tacos. They also have a nice selection of draft beers on tap; I tend to go with Lagunitas or Miner's Milk. Orders can take a while, especial when the place is packed. Still one of the best places to eat.

A wonderful and easy trail. Especially if you deviate and take the path leading to the wonderland of rocks. Made me feel like Lara Croft exploring some desert! The area allows for some excellent back-country camping as well.

This popular destination, perched on the crest of the Little San Bernardino Mountains, provides panoramic views of the Coachella Valley and is well worth the 20-minute drive from Park Boulevard down Keys View Road.

Sightseeing
This was our first hike in the JTNP area and it was an amazing introduction into the landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed the views on the way in and the oasis provided great shaded relief. Wonderful way to stretch legs after a day in the car!
