Climb up the Rock that gave Castle Rock its name. There are great views from up there and for the more agile, a little challenge in shinnying up the last rocky bits to the very top. Feel the breeze!

This state park is only 20 minutes or so from the studio. It has nice hiking trails, a canyon along Cherry Creek, and great views of the Front Range.

Drive up on Daniels Park Road to see gorgeous views of the Front Range, have a picnic, or see the buffalo herd that resides up there. We spied a bald eagle sitting in a tree up there once.
