"Cozy, relaxed hangout offering brunch staples, sandwiches & salads, plus wine, cocktails & coffee." - Google This is one of the nearest places from the apartment. I recommend it to relax and get some drinks by yourself, or with friends, in the evening, or, either have a nice breakfast or a small meal. This is definitely one of my favourites spots in the neighbourhood and so close to the apartment...

"Mexican restaurant." - Google Modern terrace with a variety of dishes, ideal for having a beer with some tacos or seafood. In my opinion, not the best service, but the food is great, and the ambience, too. Drinks, and Mexican beers, are a must, though.

This place is unique! The view of CDMX is gorgeous, but the prices are super high. If you can afford it, please try it.

Neighborhoods

Neighbourhoods (or boroughs) are called "colonias" ("colonia", in singular) in Mexico City. Some of the most beautiful boroughs are just around the corner. One of them is where you are staying: colonia Juárez, with its vibrant Zona Rosa, lovely parks, cute, old mansions, cafés, and nightclubs. Others are Roma, Condesa (or Roma-Condesa), Cuauhtémoc, Polanco, and more. They're all at a walking distance from your place, or at a quick ride by Uber, Didi or Beat Tesla.
“Colonia Juárez”, or Juárez Neighborhood, has the best of everything—from high-end restaurants, to small, family-owned businesses, from the vibrant nightlife in Zona Rosa, to beautiful sunsets in its parks.

Zona Rosa is the nearest area where you can find vibrant nightlife. Just make sure you pay in cash, make sure you're charged only for what you're drinking, and beware of overpriced, dangerous spots. (I always check the place I'm planning to go beforehand on the internet.)

Small treasures

Not so secret places to feel the genuine Mexico City vibes
This place is amazing in the evenings, where neighbors bring their dogs and children to play, and people just sit on the Square’s benches and relax. Don’t miss to admire a famous building that has a facade in the form of a witch (“The House of the Witches”), and grab a drink in any of the fancy bars surrounding it.
