Steps from the water, charming places to eat everything from local treats to the best fine dining! Note: parking is tricky. I have visited many North America's Chinatowns-this one is nice, safe, clean, and a great place to walk around after your meal, take photos(streets are blocked from traffic). My favorite spot is called VIP on Clarke-it doesn't look like much but the food is great(really not expensive) I recommend going to a restaurant with a line up, that is always a good sign! For newbies to the Chinatown experience: order 1 to 2 main dishes per person and you share everything in a family style setting, you will likely take some home with you:)

Crescent street is where it happens, just about every night! 3 blocks of restaurant/bars and night clubs. Everything opens till 3am nightly. If there are special events going on like the Grand Prix, they close off the street for a big street fest! If you are driving there, I recommend parking for the night on the West side (if you dont mind walking 10-15 minutes) park before GUY street-cheaper, convenient, safe.

The Montreal Forum was home to the Montreal Canadians before the Bell center and is a landmark. If you love hockey, you can take photos on the actual stands(some are left there) The Forum now has a movie theatre and a few other spots. It is located in front of a lovely park and side to a busy mall(Alexis Nihon) which is all accessible by METRO ATWATER.
