Very close to our house. Original petroglyphs. This is a protected area and bouldering and rock climbing is prohibited here. Please be considerate. Tread lightly. Do not block driveways or park on private property. You will need to park your vehicle legally, and proceed on foot to the canyon. Depending where you parked determines how long you will have to hike in the wash. You cannot drive to Coyote Holes. More info can be ready about this sacred place here:

Very close to our house and worth a visit. Not visited as much as the JTNP so a good option for hiking, MTB, etc... Always bring lots of water. Up a dirt road but ok for all cars.

One of the high desert's interesting sites. It's a drive out there and mostly on dirt roads, but any car can get there. It's also near Integratron if you are planning to there as well. Giant Rock is a large freestanding boulder in the Mojave Desert near Landers. The boulder covers 5,800 square feet of ground and is seven stories high. It's definitely a site to be seen.

The Integratron is a structure designed by ufologist and contactee George Van Tassel. Tassel claimed the Integratron was capable of rejuvenation, anti-gravity and time travel. He built the structure in Landers, California (near Joshua Tree), supposedly following instructions provided by visitors from the planet Venus. The Integratron machine was started in 1957, the structure was erected in 1959. It was financed predominantly by donations, including funds from Howard Hughes.
