Padre Island National Seashore is, in our opinion, the best beach in our area. It is the least crowded, cleanest, and clearest water. It is about 40 minutes from our place. There is a small fee to get in.

Road construction
Like other cities, Corpus is expanding! A lot of roadwork is happening around town. North Beach is particularly busy with construction right now due to construction of the new harbor bridge. Starting in December 2021 the JFK causeway out to North Padre will be down to one lane each direction.
