Mimosa Market is a terrific neighborhood market within walking distance from Casa Taormina. Take the "Old Bisbee Steps" down from the backyard to the street. Turn left to wind around to the end of Opera Drive. Continue on the sidewalk and down the steps to Brewery Gulch (about 100 steps down). Turn left. Mimosa Market is about 100 feet up the street on the right side. They open at 10 on weekends

This is where we had many a birthday party over the years for my children. Playground equipment, basketball and volleyball courts, picnic tables and bbq. It’s a modest park, below the old schoolhouse in. May still be serviced with one porta-potty.

The original farmers market used to meet here every Saturday, right up next to the Warren ballpark. Now there is a new Saturday market on the vista. You can see people walking around the vista everyday for exercise and dog walking. Vista park is the center of the Warren neighborhood, flanked with beautiful craftsman style homes, all leading up to the Loma Linda and other mansions at the top of “the Vista” on Cole Avenue, just below the mine tailings.

This is where hostess Maria first settled when she came to Bisbee back in the late 90’s (off-grid, 1000’ higher elevation than old Bisbee). It’s a beautiful drive- or walk- up from “the divide” (take Tombstone Canyon all the way up until it becomes West Blvd and, finally, “Old Divide Road”. Take it slow and watch for oncoming traffic on winding mountain road. Juniper Flats Road is rough, dirt, but the views can’t be beat!
