A great space that you can walk to! This brewery features a menu with their own food. Be sure to try the bread twists with a marinara dipping sauce. YUM! A great outdoor area is kid friendly and fills up so get there early.
There is also another location downtown.
PRO TIP- get the wine slushy. White, red, or swirl. (get the swirl).

Another walkable brewery, CODA has a slogan of "Ales What Cures You." They have a great mad scientist vibe and very good beer. They usually have a food truck and have a great outdoor seating area. Kid friendly.

Hiking/Trail running
One of my favorite local hiking/train running spots. Remember that bikers are welcome here, but they can only bike the gated trails on even days. They can bike the rest of the trails any day.

A 3 block walk from the house, there are many trails here. Not very challenging as hiking goes, but a GREAT place to trail run. Be sure to go to the top of Castle Rock for great views of Golden.
You can also take trails here and walk downtown. It is about a 4 mile hike, and be sure to take the Olivine Trail down the mountain. This is a newer trail and switchbacks down the the end of 19th St where you can walk to Washington, make a right, and you are in the heart of downtown Golden.

South Table Mountain Park
16741 Golden Hills RdA 3 block walk from the house, there are many trails here. Not very challenging as hiking goes, but a GREAT place to trail run. Be sure to go to the top of Castle Rock for great views of Golden.
