Fat Andy's is amazing! It is super casual with outdoor eating. When you don't know what to do for lunch one day, you MUST go get a burger or dog!

This is our most favorite ice cream place. It is on Oak Island Drive and super easy to find. They have so many amazing ice cream flavors and you must try the Titanic. 10 scoops of ice cream and 10 toppings. Skip supper that day. :-)

City/town information
Bald Head Island is such a cool experience. There are no vehicles allowed on the island, so you can take the ferry over - which is an experience all its own. Then you rent a golf cart and explore!

We love to drive over to Southport several times when we visit. There are fantastic restaurants, wonderful places to shop full of amazing art, beach clothes and other paraphernalia, toys, etc. You have to visit Bullfrog Corner and Lantanas! We love to go eat dinner and then "walk it off" down these beautiful streets and wooden walkways. The Southport pier is always a must see.

This park is right down the road from the house, walking distance. Cross Oak Island Drive and head to the left. You will pass Town Hall and the park is right after. There is a splash pad, basketball courts, playgrounds, etc. Behind Middleton Park is a Farmer's Market every Monday until 1:00.

Golf Carts!
We are 3 easy blocks from the beach access, but if you want a golf cart, there are several places you can choose to rent from. We hope to eventually provide a golf cart for our guests for an additional fee.
