Best place in Canada for xc skiing with the combination of both Sovereign lake and Silver Star. Resort Groomed daily. Fat biking and snowshoeing as well as alpine. There's a few restaurants on top the hill for Apres Ski.

Great place for a walk/run. The short loop is about 3 km with option to extend to 10k. Scenic and quite. Great for bird watching.

- Star Road (southwest trail end): From Vernon, follow 48th Avenue east to Silver Star Road (48th Ave becomes Silver Star Rd). Just past the BX School, turn right onto Star Road. Sign and parking at trailhead on the right just before turning left up the hill. Directions
- Tillicum Road (northeast trail end): Continue up Silver Star Road another 2 km, turn right on Tillicum Road. Approximately 1 km off Silver Star Road, parking is on the right, just after the hard right-hand turn. Directio
