Just a heads up it's a small and popular place so you need to make reservations and arrive on time. And every Tuesday night is Animal Rights Night where anyone who works for and animal rights organization gets 25% off! Oh and 100% of their profits go to animal rights organizations!

I guess this might be called a barcade. It's got food and some tasty vegan options. It's got beer and wine. It's all ages until 9pm every night. They start carding at 8:15. And no cover charge. You get tokens to play arcade games. Tokens are priced like quarters. So 4 tokens is 1 dollar. It's definitely a fun experience. They've got games like Frogger, Galaga, Millipede, Missile Command, Moonwalker, Street Fighter ll, Rampage, Donkey Kong, Burgertime, Berzerk, Centipede, Food Fight, and many many more. Plus they have a bunch of pinball games too!

This place is a must if you stay here. We walk there from my house. There's a walking path that goes around the entire lake. It's cool to walk around and check out all the birds, and turtles in the water. There's plenty of grassy areas to relax or have a picnic. There's also tables in certain areas. There's a coffee shop / cafe at the lake. It's got paddle boats that you can rent and go out into the lake. Once a year the lotus flowers bloom and there's a festival that goes along with that as well. On certain Sunday's, I think the 2nd and fourth Sundays of the month, there is food stands that set up in the park as well. Like I said, it's a must.

This is the home of the LA Phil, an internationally renowned orchestra. "The LA Phil takes audiences on sweeping musical journeys through electrifying performances, cutting-edge music education, and innovative outreach programs, crossing borders and transcending boundaries to enrich the cultural life of Los Angeles." Also, in the building is a hidden gem of an experimental art space called REDCAT which was founded by CalArts. Definitely some cool performances to check out.
