The drive up lookout mountain road is wild but worth it. This hike is absolutely beautiful.

My favorite hike within 15 miles. It's close, its beautiful and you get to see both the city and the mountains. Get their early or plan on a later (after 2pm) hike to avoid the crowds.

My favorite hike period... I can get lost in this park for hours on end. It makes my heart fill, and once you get into the trail, you see less and less people, it's amazing. <3

Their are so many things to do and places to eat in Golden, it is a heart in the foothills to this city, and I can't recommend it enough.

Downtown Morrison is 10 minutes from the house and is charming darling and so much fun. Ice cream at the first stop on the right is WONDERFUL. Tea's and herbal essentials at Meadowsweet on the left and my favorite boutique- Morrison Mercantile is the best shop in a 50 mile radius.
