It's reputation speaks for itself. Vail is gorgeous any time of year. Despite being only a couple hours from Denver (traffic dependent), you'll probably want to make it an overnight as there is a lot to see.

World-class skiing, food, hiking, and animal-watching are at your finger tips. We highly recommend a "safari" to have a guide point out all the amazing wildlife in the area.
