Neighborhoods
Calallen is named for Calvin Allen, who first settled this area in 1910. It’s a growing community and is a desirable place to live for young families. Calallen is best known for its winning high school football team led by longtime coach Phil Danaher. At the center of the community is the 5 Points shopping center and Walmart Supercenter. There are many restaurants to choose from and Tex-Mex cuisine is the local specialty.
