A must visit! The name mean "the best hotdog in town" It is a very popular hot dog stand in central Reykjavik, near the harbor, it has been open since 1937. Bill Clinton former president of the United States did have a hot dog there. Ask for one with everything!

Fair price (compared to Iceland:) large menu with lots of small dishes. I can recommend the Ceasar salat, the trout, the melted cheese and much more.. Great for sharing. The place is just across the street from Hallgrimskirkja. One of my favorites!

Perlan: Ice cave, northern light and forces of nature exhibition. 15 min walk from the apartment. You can also go to the beach in Nautholsvik that is close by,,, yes it has a white sand and you can swim in the sea. Kids friendly!
