You can choose between two different trails of medium difficulty (4kms or 6kms) surrounded by the beautiful nature characteristic of Costa Rica.

Finally, delight in the beautiful landscape of La Fortuna de San Carlos, made up of the imposing Arenal Volcano and the Arenal Lake. The viewpoint is the perfect point to admire the beauty of a panorama that will take your breath away.
Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Last admission 4:00 p.m.)

The route to the Río Fortuna Waterfall is self-guided, they have a large parking space, which is offered free of charge, likewise they will have at their disposal restrooms, dressing rooms, showers, locker rental, souvenir shops, viewpoints , an orchid garden and the Río Lounge restaurant.
They have accessibility for people with disabilities who cannot go down the steps of the route to the Waterfall; and for them they offer the view of the Waterfall from the first viewpoint, from this point you can see the Waterfall at a distance of 200 meters with the best photographs; but they can also take the tour to the orchid garden.
The route consists of about 530 descending steps to reach the imposing Rio Fortuna Waterfall, where the peace and majesty of nature will make you enjoy its crystal clear waters and the scenic beauty of the place.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
-Closed walking shoes.
-Carry bottles with water or moisturizers.
-Always bring some candy.
-Comfortable clothes for walking.
-Bring towels.
-Biodegradable sunblocks.
-Biodegradable insect repellants.
-Bring a bathing suit.
-Photographic camera.
-Stay on the trail
-Do not touch the plants.
-In the case of children under 4 years of age, carry chargers.
