It's our go-to for hole-in-the-wall Chineese Food. It's good quality and quantity for the price. Takeout is best but they also deliver. It's a short walk - be aware, they share the building with a gas station but don't let that scare you away.

It is cool to see where money is made but I (and other guests) have found the tour a little under-whelming. If you are really into coins then by all means check it out. I found the Federal Money Museum more interesting.

Quick and interesting little museum right downtown on the mall. While near there be sure to walk down the west side of Curtis street and keep an ear out when you walk over the grates for the 'audio art' installation.

The mall and the surrounding shops are Denver's high end shopping. They are a mile away! There are a few more budget friendly bars and restaurants mixed in too. This is also the closest Verizon and Apple store should you have phone issuese.

You can't really explain the beauty here as the theater is built into the giant Red Rocks. It's usually open during the day (but check ahead) and the locals use it for working out and picnics. Take your water and sunscreen and be ready to climb some stairs - it's totally worth it. Plus you get a great view of the city! While in the area, check out Dinosaur Ridge, the Coors Tour, Lookout Mountain, and the quaint city of Golden.

Denver's outdoor shopping district. It's the heart of downtown and features plenty of shopping and food options. There is a free bus that runs up and down the mall all day. If you're up for a long walk (1.7 miles) make your way through Capital HIll on Washington, Pearl, Pennsylvania, Logan, Grant and/or Sherman streets. Once you get to 16th and Lincoln you can jump on the bus. Otherwise you can catch the zero bus on Broadway or use meter/garage parking downtown.
