I have been going to The Cow's End since I was in High School in the early 90's. Great staff, always welcoming and friendly. They have lots of healthy options and they really hustle to get your order out. Cash only.

The food is not awesome, but the view/atmosphere is unique. Sidewalk has been around a very long time, I have only eaten here a handful of times since the 90's as the food I have ordered has always been just ok...but you don't go here for the great food, you go here to chill out and watch the scene that is Venice Beach unfold around you.

Sidewalk has been around a very long time, I have only eaten here a handful of times since the 90's as the food I have ordered has always been just ok...but you don't go here for the great food, you go here to chill out and watch the scene that is Venice Beach unfold around you.
Love this place because it's just far enough off the beaten path to find parking and a table. Right off Abbott Kinney. Generous portions.

Sightseeing
One of the main tourist attractions is the Venice Skate Park. Locals had to fight for years to make the skate park happen. You can see in the photos hanging in the Living Room what the old Venice Pavilion skate spot used to look like before they built this one. Check out the younger skate locals, Haden McKenna (ig: hadenmckenna), Le'andre Sanders (ig: skategoat) or some legends that have been around for a bit Tuma (ig: rollmodelskateboarding)

My first memories of the Santa Monica Pier are riding the Merri-go-round with my grandmother in the 80's... they have added quite a few rides and attractions since then! They have a large arcade, dining, treats and rides. Bring your wallet.

Neighborhoods
If you head West down Washington Blvd about a mile, you will come to the intersection of Washington and Pacific. Here you will find several eating establishments/bars before you get to the beach. There is usually quite a busy night life here in the summer time. Parking is limited.

Check out the murals all over the city done by local artists Jonas Never and Gustavo Zermeno Jr to name a few... you'll find murals tucked away on private streets and on businesses and walls throughout Venice and Los Angeles.
