Sightseeing
The ski resort is a great place to go all year round! Besides being one of the best ski resorts in New England which is 10 min from the house they offer hiking trails as well as a few mountain bike trails. During the fall time, you can even take the gondola or ski lift up and check out the colors of the foliage. They also host many events during the offseason so I'd recommend checking their event calendar on their website!

Neighborhoods
The downtown area of Bethel has a nice mix of shops to quiet streets! In the Gould area is a nice quiet spot to go for walks or check out the view from their athletic fields. A lot of the town is historic and it is a wonderful place to see some older architecture!

This is a great area that has a few more restaurants and shops than Bethel and is a 30-minute drive from the house! The views of Mnt. Washington are amazing and the drive over is beautiful especially at sunset!

Great local food open all year round and can accommodate both large and smaller groups and is a very family-friendly place!

This is the bar to go to after a long day of skiing! It has great Nachos (they're famous for) and often has a live band playing! They are only open during the ski season unfortunately!

The local Chinese restaurant has amazing food! Don't be surprised if you get takeout and there is a 45 to 1hr pickup time as its a big local favorite!
