This is next to the rice growing area not far from Valencia and here you will get a really authentic paella. Make a reservation at one of the many restaurants in advance!

Excellent, authentic Valencian cuisine, very cheap and relatively unknown to tourists. They have a set menu which is excellent. You must make reservations, it is always crowded and to capacity. Only open for lunch and not on Sunday. Definitely worth the effort, right next to the Cabañal Market.

You must make reservations, it is always crowded and to capacity. Only open for lunch and not on Sunday. Definitely worth the effort, right next to the Cabañal Market.

LaPaca, just a few blocks away, has a great atmosphere and is very inexpensive. They always have a great variety of delicious tortillas and outdoor seating. The crowd is eclectic and the atmosphere is gritty and fun.

The space is an old ice factory and on any given day/night is live music, flea markets, food trucks and any and everything else. Also very cheap for beer, wine, hanging out.
