The place where the queen spends her time in the winter months. It's possible to book tickets for a tour if you want to go inside the castle. Great place to see the queens guards, you know, the one's with the hats.
I recommend also visiting "Frederiks Kirke" and "Amaliehaven" when there, as it's located quite close to each other.

A citadel built in 1624 by Christian IV. It houses a lot of history and is today used as military barracks. I recommend seeing "The little mermaid" and "St. Alban's Church" when visiting.

Here you have the opportunity to pet cows and goats if you dare, and see birds as it also consists of a bird sanctuary.

To go there, simply take the metro to "Vestamager".

Getting around Copenhagen with public transport.
Public transport
For travels with public transport, the website journeyplanner. dk helps you with arranging your journey around Denmark. It includes busses, metro, and trains.
Copenhagen central station (København K) is a melting pot for trains going through the whole of Denmark, and you'll also find connections to other countries here.
