Outdoors
Beautiful and diverse three mile trail you must see if you like being outdoors. Park on 64th outside the park to save on parking, or park inside the gate. One past the entrance gate on the left side There’s a 3 mile trail (1.5 miles one way and then repeat trail to return). Takes you through the woods, by the water, through old cypress marshes, over bridges (you’ll see crabs and fish beneath), and more until you eventually come to a beach called the Narrows. Biking permitted on this trail. There are longer trails to the right, the pretty ones through the waters edge on the right don’t permit bikes but this 3 mile one is easy and my favorite for running, walking, or biking.

Food scene
Just a mile away. Cozy atmosphere, Great food, specials, and prices. Whether you prefer surf, turf, or sandwiches they have it along with great home style sides. This was the original Ice House in the early 1900s as the rail station came from norfolk and stopped just in front of the restaurant. The Norfolk Ave bike path was paved over the old railroad.

This is upscale but very historic. Located in the Old Cavalier Hotel . We’ve had Kim Kardashian to Beyoncé and Jayzee stay here and dine here.

Free parking. there's a feeder road you can find parking on at the north end but have to cross the main Atlantic Ave to get to beach. Certain streets do have parking on the beach side but hard to come by on holiday weekend.

North End Beaches
40th-70th streets.. right off Resort beach.. more private..no showers or bath houses though. Free parking. there's a feeder road you can find parking on at the north end but have to cross the main Atlantic Ave to get to beach. Certain streets do have parking on the beach side but hard to come by on holiday weekend.
