The Aquarium of the Pacific is a public aquarium on a 5-acre site on Rainbow Harbor a few minutes from my place. It is situated across the way from the Long Beach Convention Center, Shoreline Village, and the Queen Mary.

Anywhere you go on 2nd street is going to be good. Bars or sports bars, dinning, Ice Cream, Yogurt and/or Sweet Jill's for desert is a must. And, there are several cute boutiques to shop during the day.

This gem is classy! Great cocktails and fabulous food. You won't be disappointed. It's less then a mile if your up for the walk. Or you can take a $4-$6 Lyft ride.
