This botanical garden packs a lot in a small space. There are lots of plants, but also a butterfly house, orchid greenhouses, birds and reptiles, a cute gift shop and usually plants for sale as well as lots of special events.

This beautiful aquarium right on the water recently added several new exhibits and giant tanks and is contending for status as one of the top 10 aquariums in the nation. Lots of hands on exhibits and a splash pad playground for the kids.

If you want a great steak without breaking the bank, this is the place for you! My favorite is the 6 or 8 oz sirloin. Get there early, there is usually a wait!

Amazing food, amazing view, my favorite lunch place! Enjoy fresh original food while watching the ships go by right outside the floor to ceiling windows. Beautiful view of the Aquarium, the bridge, the Lexington and Corpus Christi bay! They also have outdoor seating and a great staff as well as reasonable prices. Located in the Art Museum (free entry for Elizabeth's lunch).
