Neither a motel nor a cafe (anymore), but still fun to photograph. While your in the area, check out Amboy Crater, walk on the moon (Chloride Chemical), the town of Ludlow, etc.

A great starting point for your visit to Joshua Tree National Park. This is the larger of the two Visitor Centers, and convenient to the North entrance to the Park.
