Similar to Hlemmur Mathöll. Many small restaurants (basically a hipster food court) where everyone should be able to find something to their liking. Nice to get a drink as well and enjoy the harbour and ocean view.

Really nice original ice cream with a good variation of flavours. I often go there with friends and then we take a walk in the nearby park or we go there after swimming in Laugardalslaug.

Extremely good restaurant that mainly serves fish (Icelandic). Bit on the expensive side but worth trying when in Iceland (highly recommend their sushi).

Very good ice cream. Usually not too busy. I always get "Þeytingur" with the '' old ice cream" (old because it's an old recipe and good for those who are lactose intolerant) and add "Daim, strawberrys and þristur". It's basically a swirl of ice cream with candy in it.

Sæbraut (basically the sidewalk that you walk along the coastline) is a really nice stroll that ends at Harpa concert hall. Beauiful scenery and sculptures along the way. Really nice way to go to downtown Reykjavík.

Nice swimming pool although there are a lot of tourists that go there. If you want to go to a nice pool with more locals I'd recommend Árbæjarlaug (I used to live close to that pool).
