Just across the street you are in the beautiful Turia Park that used to be a river until 1987 (when the river was located outside the city due to flooding). You can walk for approx. 8 kilometers to the Zoo. Also, the Turia Park is one of the best places in the world for running; there is a 5K track with 100 meters markers starting 1K from our apartment. Valencia label the city as Ciudad del Running.
