This is a great place to spend some time at if you like boating, fishing, relaxing, swimming bbqing, Great shade under the pines. Nearly a perfect lake, weather is unparalleled for the area.
(note: California Has been hit hard by the drought coupled with a sever beetle infestation many many of the pines are dying really sad actually and doesn't seem like there is an end in sight)
Starting in May, the Bass Lake Farmer’s Market every Wednesday through September
Jazz on the Lake every Friday through September 12.
Jazz is by ducey's on the North shore
The have great chalets to stay in, (pontoon, ski and jet ski to rent)
While your At the lake don't for get south shore has 2 great places to eat "The Forks" and Miller's Landing
Free boat launch on south shore think its $5 for parking in the lot or you can park on the street ( just make sure you are all the way off the rd the will ticket and maby even tow)
