Some locals favorite spots from a former local— try the boutiques on Abbott Kinney (Burro has special gifts you should absolutely give yourself, possibly to others) and the unmissable charcuterie at the outdoor patios of Gjelina and Zinque, the health-conscious options at Butcher’s Daughter and Tocaya. The beautiful, trendy beach-front patio of Fig Tree cafe, the lush green, very vibey patio that’s perfect for day drinking wine at The Rose Venice, the interestingly named Eggslut, and the rooftop beach-city views of High Rooftop are also pretty unmissable.
