The subway station "Hermannplatz" is 3 minutes away from my apartment. The two subways ("called U-Bahn") lines, U8 and U7, run here. You can reach major sightseeing spots from Hermannplatz (Brandenburger Tor, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz) easily and fast.
