Great outlet shops! Parking isn't very expensive. Sometimes we just go to get ice cream there and walk around. You can even walk over to Shoreline Village which is across the street.

This neighborhood is a little drive but still within Long Beach just on the far southeast side. All the restaurants on the 2nd Street stretch are delicious. Our favorite is George's Greek Cafe and Open Sesame. Sometimes we just go there for a nice evening stroll.

Such a fun time is had by all at Rosie's Dog Beach! Park on the street or in the city parking lots (about $1-2 per hour) and have a wonderful time with your dog and family!

This dog part is further east in Long Beach, but it is a very large park! Larger dogs will love it! Parking is free and entrance is off 7th Street.

El Sauz has this amazing evening taco window! Yes, it's a window! It faces the parking lot and they sell the most delicious tacos. We highly recommend driving there in the evening for some tacos. The regular El Sauz restaurant is average.

We love kayaking through the Naples canals and the bay shore. It is about $12 per hour, but if you run a little over, they won't charge you extra. They are very sweet and give you recommendations. We advice that you and your party do individual kayaks. Two-people kayaks might lead to a break up/divorce! =P

Long Beach Bikeshare is great and super convenient. There are multiple stations throughout the city and near the beach for you to rent a pike for the day or for a few hours. You will need a credit card though. Do your research beforehand so that you know what station you want to return the bike too.
