Activities
Our neighbourhood swimming pool with heated pool, hot tubs and sauna and steambath. It's open from 6:30 am to 10pm on weekdays and 9 am - 10 pm on weekends. In contrast to Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon the pool is mostly attended by locals. This is a great place to rest your body after long days or hikes and meet local people and fellow travellers. 5 min walk from our apartment. The swimming pool is surrounded by our local grocery shop, bakery and café, see below.

Best spot for swimming in the cold North Atlantic sea. Very nice beach with geothermally heated sea and the real thing for those who dare. Excellent hot tub and facilities which are free during the summer months.

Take a lovely and refreshing walk or run by the sea, listen to the birds and the ocean. We have walked, ran and biked this pathwalk thousands of times and still find it to be nice and beautiful. 5 min walk from our apartment

Beautiful area by the sea with nice views both to the south and north. This is a popular area to visit by locals. Really nice any time of the day or night, if you will. You will find a lighthouse there but you can only reach it during low tides.

Our neighbourhood grocery store, just 5 min walk and is next to the swimming pool and Kaffi Vest. Super small but you will find everything there you need to make a good dinner, breakfast, lunch or just to meet the locals.
