Locally owned Cajun restaurant right across the street from the neighborhood. My favorite is the Maque Choux Chicken, but others love some of the other options. All the dishes are pretty strong so if you don't like one dish, you may love a different one.

You can't go wrong with Mexican Food. This restaraurant is very close and great for dine in or carry-out. Sometimes they even have live music.

If you want delicious food and a great atmosphere, Wolfies is locally owned and located on Geist resevoir. There is another location that is a little close, but I'd recommend sitting outside with a view of the water if the weather is nice.
