Charleston is a must see. Take a carriage ride from the Market area or visit the welcome center on Meeting St. to get a bus tour if the weather requires you to be inside. Wonderful home tours, Children's museum, Aquarium, restaurants, churches, King St. for shopping, Pineapple fountain, etc... Very safe on King Street even at night.
