This is not nearby Porta Venezia, but it is easily reachable with few stops on the Metro line red no. 1 directly from Porta Venezia stop. Get off at Precotto, direction Sesto San Giovanni. Still, it is worth the taste: serving both lunch and dinner has a typical milanese menu, good quality food, simply furnished but has nice outside terrace hidden with greenery from the street. Price very accessible. Recommended.

But buzzing around in small roads could be a good try to sense the multicultural taste of this part of the city.
