There's a nice trail around the park and a lot of wide open grass to set up a picnic or ladder golf, and it's not as crowded as some of the other parks. It's also located right behind the Botanic Garden, which is another great location to visit.

This has to be the only music venue that gets almost as many visitors during the day just to take in the view and be amazed at the gorgeous natural amphitheatre. There are also some super crazy fit people who like to run its stairs. Besides the huge concerts that are hosted all summer long, Red Rocks hosts movie nights, Reggae nights, and other activities usually only known to locals. Oh, and if you visit the town of Morrison a few miles away, do NOT eat at Tony Riggatoni's.

Biscuits and gravy. I have no other words because I just can't bring myself to order anything else here. It is sooo good. They also have really good mimosas with real OJ. Just don't try to drink the mimosa with the B&G cause it's a little spicy and it tastes funny with the mimosa. Do what I do, chug the delicious mimosa, then eat. And you will have to chug cause the food comes out in less than 5 min.

This is a great place to start your night out. The food is delicious and the margaritas will put you on the floor if your not careful, which is why they limit people to 3 only. How they make such a strong marg that is also delicious is beyond me. Try the "manberry", half mango, half strawberry, all deliciousness!

How they make such a strong marg that is also delicious is beyond me. Try the "manberry", half mango, half strawberry, all deliciousness!
This place has more than just desserts, but I always fill up on cake so I'm not very familiar with the rest. They have this cake called the "Spring Fling Cake" and it's actually a zucchini cake with cream cheese frosting and fruit layered in the middle and on top. Coming from the most skeptical person when it comes to "health food", I will happily endorse this as extremely delicious. No idea if it's healthy or not, but the words "zucchini cake" were enough to turn my nose up at first.

AVA is the best rafting company in Colorado. They raft the most IV-V rated sections of whitewater in the country. You can head a couple hour southwest and raft on the Arkansas or stick close to the city and hit up Clear Creek in Idaho Springs. Don't let the name "Creek" fool you, there are some excellent sections of IVs and Vs. They have excellent guides and the best equipment of the companies I've rafted with. http://www.coloradorafting.net/
