Best bagels around. OK, there may be one rival shop (but I dont know the name off hand). But regardless, it's tied with the other. This one happens to have Gluten Free bagels too. SO there's that.

Best thai around. CHEAP! Great patio. It can be super crowded and feels a little bit like a club BUT worth if for the price and the taste. And the patio is GREAT! They deliver btw!

FAVORITE bar. Awesome small plates if your hungry. It can get crowded later on weekends, but the drinks are to die for and the staff is lovely. Cozy and beautiful back patio too.

If your a sports fan, this is a close and great spot to watch the game. Google it to make sure they are playing the sport your dying to see. If not, try 500 5th ave. It can be a zoo but FUN too.

This isn't totally my thing, BUT if you like dead stuff and taxidermy, it's a VERY impressive little spot around the corner. They have a cafe too! ;-)

Sightseeing
Prospect park is an amazing park. During the summer, its loaded with people playing football/soccer, kite flying, picnics, pups, families and friends. Its a wonderful place to go for a walk or hang.
