The Australian Grand Prix is held in March each year at the Albert Park Lake. All other times the lake is accessible to public and is beautiful. You can also visit the pits and finish line, and drive around the race track.

The Albert Park Lake is a beautiful lake with walking track all the way around, with a range of wildlife including the famous swans. It is the home of the Australian Grand Prix, as well as a range of ovals, parklands, a golf course with mini golf, and other sporting venues like the Melbourne Aquatic Centre and Lakeside Stadium which is the South Melbourne home of the now Sydney Swans AFL team.

The Albert Park Lake is a beautiful lake with walking track all the way around, with a range of wildlife including the famous swans. It is the home of the Australian Grand Prix, as well as a range of ovals, parklands, a golf course with mini golf, and other sporting venues like the Melbourne Aquatic Centre and Lakeside Stadium which is the South Melbourne home of the now Sydney Swans AFL team.

A favourite Melbourne Suburb for tourists, on the beach and close to the city. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes with a lively atmosphere. I’d recommend having a meal or drinks and one of the places on the beach on a nice day, visiting The Espy one of Melbourne’s oldest and most famous live music venues but also great for a drink, and a visit to Luna Park theme park which has the historic scenic railway roller coaster which has great views of the city /beach from the top!

A favourite Melbourne Suburb for tourists, on the beach and close to the city. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes with a lively atmosphere. I’d recommend having a meal or drinks and one of the places on the beach on a nice day, visiting The Espy one of Melbourne’s oldest and most famous live music venues but also great for a drink, and a visit to Luna Park theme park which has the historic scenic railway roller coaster which has great views of the city /beach from the top!
