My favorite dive bar, also one of the oldest bars in Denver. It doesn't have a sign, but this place is one you don't want to miss. It was a hangout of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, and Neal Cassady. Great deals on beers and drinks, and it has very satisfying, greasy food to munch on. Try the JCB, you won't regret it.

The drinks are nothing super special, but the atmosphere if this bar is great. It's patio is as much as a wild life refuge as it is an outdoor seating area. There are fire pits, babbling brooks, and secluded tree-lined alcoves that make your forget you are actually in the city. They also have a giant swing upstairs.

You're almost stepping back in time with this retro amusement park. The best part is that it is across the street from my house and entry fees are super cheap.

My favorite grocery store in the area. Lots of great produce and many different options for types of food. They also have a pharmacy and basic household supplies if you need them. You could definitely walk from if it's a nice day or its a very quick drive.
