oktoberfest, obviously :-) make sure to wear shoes that protect your feet from people stepping on / bits of glass :) on weekends, be prepared to wait in front of tents for more than an hour to get it.

this is were all the locals go to swim, sunbathe, barbeque, drink a few beers in the sun. maybe stroll along :-)

cold river with a constant artificial wave - surfers surf here ALL YEAR ROUND even at -15 degress. world famous spot. great to watch. any time during the day really :)

delicious food sold on week days, lots to try, great bavarian and international stuff. ideal to combine with a walk through city centre (stachus - Marienplatz - Sendlinger Tor - then Viktualienmarkt)

very close to my place, beautiful castle of around 1850, walking through the beautiful park is for free (they only charge for inside the castle)
