Our favorite brunch restaurant. Amazing 270 degree views of the mountains, lovely architecture. It's situated on the Escena Golf Course, but a lot of locals go there (non-golfers). Food is reasonably priced and pretty good. We go for the views.

The South Course is nicer and more challenging than the North Course. Indian Canyons Golf Resort has been the jewel of Palm Springs since 1961 (South Course was only recently built). Once a private club named Canyon Country Club, this was a favorite haunt of Hollywood celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, and Jackie Gleason. Former U.S. Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson and Ronald Reagan also walked these fairways.
If you golf the North Course - check out the locker room. Men's locker room has original lockers for Sinatra, Walt Disney and a few other greats.

Parks & Nature
(Park at the end of Farrell Road, walk along the levy, it's public access, dip into the wash-basin to the mountain, you see the trails on the mountain and horseback riders).
My husband and I do a loop that starts at the levy, walk the wash, to Earl Henderson, up to Shannon Trail (where you can see Bob Hope's Estate Home from an amazing side-view). Turn west at Berns Trail to Garstin Trail (again, keep going West on Garstin). You end up at the wash and can catch back up with the end of Earl Henderson Trail....walk back east on Earl Henderson Trail. Amazing views, STEEP hike but worth it. You may spot some bighorn sheep up there. Probably 5 miles round trip.

Elvis rented this home for about a year, and this is where Elvis and Priscilla spent the first part of their honeymoon.

After Kaufmann died in 1955, the house stood vacant for several years. It then had a series of owners, including singer Barry Manilow and a San Diego Chargers Owner.
