Located just couple blocks away from DOWNTOWN, our privileged location gives you the flexibility to explore more easily, the attractions in the area.
A completely equipped apartment; fully stocked kitchenette offers the chance to cook every single meal you want (oil, sugar, salt, tea and coffee are provided for free in the kitchen), attached to a cozy living room with comfortable sofa-bed.
The apartment offers 1 dorm with KING SIZE BED and TV. The cozy full bathroom offers a shower with hot water, hairdryer (amenities include: toilet paper, soap, shampoo, towels, cotton swabs). Finally the complementary amenities includes: a powerful A/C, High speed wi-fi INTERNET connection (100/100m.b.p.s) perfect for business travelers, bikes for rent and free access to our shared third floor rooftop terrace with breathtaking view to the Arenal Volcano. The neighborhood is safe as well as quiet (a family area, parents with children and touristic workers walking around all day and night). We have also security cameras places along our street and connected to our local police office. I think we are in a very organized neighborhood trying to cover up from all possible way to offer a safer area for all of us..
What it makes a special area, it is the kindness from all our neighbors, you can see them always with a smile on their faces and they will always greet you and will help you if you need anything.
One of our closest neighbors is a small farmer a hard worker person and dad of a 5 years old charming boy. Another of our closest neighbors is a constructor worker and some others work on hot springs resorts.
There are street lights along the sidewalk from downtown to the apartment, it is safe to walk anytime at night but in case that you decide to walk late late night, try to do it at least with another person, otherwise you can take a taxi (it is not because the area is dangerous at night but because it is better if you do not expose yourself to a potential dangerous situation). I have never seen nor heard about any assault in the neighborhood, but as I always say, extra protection never hurts.

Hola! I'm Roy I was born and raised in this beautiful country COSTA RICA!!
Briefly I would say that I'm a passionate nature lover who had the opportunity to work in the tourism industry. That gave me the chance to travel all over the country as well as doing marketing in different countries in Central and North America.
I studied Business Administration and currently I'm in charge of 8 different apartments, all of them located in La Fortuna town, all of them belong to my family (so it is a small family business) and all of them rented 100% to Airbnb travelers. I started couple years ago with my personal apartment when I used to be working for a local hotel and now it turned to be my full time job.
At the end of 2016 I was diagnosed with cancer, it was a tough period since I was taking the 32 sessions of chemotherapy but with the help and positive energy of my family, boyfriend and friends I'm back with, more strong and with a very different perspective of enjoying life and family.
I always try to give the best in order to reach your satisfaction and expectations, it's been the key all over this years and now that I'm healthy, my goal is to kept the Super Host status (not easy at all).
I hope to keep doing things better and if you decide to stay in one of my apartments, my commitment will be to offer the best Costa Rican experience.
I hope to keep making good friends from all over the world, EVERYBODY without exception of race, color or gender is heartly welcome :)

I give my guests space, but I am available when needed, I normally use to be in town but for sure I will be ALWAYS AVAILABLE through my phone.
Before, during and after booking one of our places, please do not hesitate to send me a message about anything you consider that you need advice or anything else you need. I know very well La Fortuna since I used to work for tour operators and hotels few years ago, so I know very well how to save some money if you are on a tight budget, I can give you great suggestions if you looking to know a bit more about our culture, typical food and traditions, I can recommend you wonderful places to visit, out of touristic path. I am a super open mind, so there is no topic limitation.
Once the reservation is finally confirmed, I will send you a link to access a online-document that I created with more details about how to get to the apartment, check in process and recommendations about where to eat, what to do, etc. In the reviews, clients normally say it is a super useful information to prepare things ahead on time.
