Comfortable and convenient location on the river side of town (no direct access but within short walking distance to the Big and Little Salmon Rivers as well as restauraunts, bars, post office and the grocery store). Located directly behind Two Rivers Coffee Roasters and gift shop. Your stay comes with in-house fresh roasted coffee, and complimentary smells. (More photos to come)

Cozy apartment within short walking distance to the Big and Little Salmon Rivers. There is Wi-Fi, DVD player, board games, vinyl records and player and some DVDs. There is a Redbox at the nearby grocery store. Sorry, we do not have cable TV.

Comfy Queen bed and twin upstairs sleep 3 adults or kids. There is a sofa downstairs - you may have a forth person for no additional charge if they're willing to couch surf.

Beach towels are available for your use, and kitchen is equipped with condiments and basic cooking staples as well as a coffee maker, full sets of dishes, silverware and pans - even bowls, measuring cups, baking pans etc.

There is a window unit air conditioner that works pretty well most times. Opening the windows in the evening may help with cooling things down when temps rise above 100 degrees. Reach out if you would like to request a portable fan.

You will have to navigate stairs to the bathroom and bedroom. There is a railing but it is probably not appropriate for children under 4.

Riggins is an off the grid close-knit community with a rich history. During the old west it was a booming mining town called Gouge-eye (yup for reals - there's a story) replete with native American battles and crazy river stories. It later became a timber town and ranching community. Now the Native Americans and this community try work together to honor the sacred land and resources. You can still find ancient relics scattered throughout the Canyon and most every resident here places a high value on the peaceful and spiritual experience this beautiful area provides.

After the mill burned down over 30 years ago, it was necessary for Riggins to capitalize on the recreational tourism in the area. Riggins is notorious for having some of the best Rapids in the world and is a well renowned fishing Mecca. That is why you will see many different kinds of boat tours, river rafting outfitters, and a variety of fishing and hunting Expedition companies. I am happy to provide information to help you find the best fit for your outdoor recreation needs.

Riggins has been slightly modernized however it is still a one-horse town and things do shut down early. Shop owners in this town work together to provide a variety of goods and services for our visitors. Locals understand the effect and carefree feeling that liberation in this raw and natural habitat can evoke, but we hope our guests will appreciate it as much as we do and treat our beaches and wildlands with the same respect when it comes to kids, dogs, trash, and recreational vehicles.

I purchased a coffee roasting company in the town I grew up in - Riggins, Idaho - the Whitewater Capitol and Steelhead Fishing mecca of Idaho. Two Rivers Coffee can be found online and scattered throughout grocery stores and shops in northern Idaho. I try to always leave a sample out for guests to try.

I lived in Boise for over 20 years and worked in the legal field but decided I needed a change.

Well this is definitely a change! I'm loving it. I travel a lot for the business but want to make sure your stay is a good one. I am available for any questions that I can answer to make your time as enjoyable as possible. There's a lot to see and do and I'd be happy to make recommendations of favorites.

I'm usually very responsive to texts and Airbnb emails or you may call either of my numbers provided. I live nearby and will generally try to meet you upon check-in. I also run the coffee shop right in front of the duplex where I can usually be reached during business hours.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need extra towels blankets or directions Etc.

Cell service can be sketchy in this area so please try to text if you don't get an immediate response to an email or a call / VM. For some reason, I can usually receive texts even if the internet or cell service is lacking. You can also leave a message with my staff at the shop if you cannot reach me.
