Petting farm with beautiful horses
Visitors to Harmony Acres Farm will enjoy hands-on petting interactions with a variety of friendly farm animals in a peaceful natural setting that abounds with wildlife and wonderful mountain views. The sounds of calming wind chimes mingle with the crowing and clucking of our free-ranging chickens. One-by-one guests will be introduced to the farm’s colorful and rare breed horses, sweet miniature horse, friendly miniature goats, miniature pigs, handsome horned ram and woolly sheep. Right now we have new baby pigs that love to cuddle. While learning about each of the rare breeds that calls Harmony Acres home, you can pet and feed treats to all of the animals and enjoy their playful antics up close. Our elegant flock of chickens will usually come running for a guest-fed treat. Each tour winds up with some time for a period of guest self-directed time with your favorite animal. Petting tours are conducted socially distanced and all outdoors. We are handicapped accessible. Plenty of shade is available for you in our covered stable area and a shaded veranda at the house. Fun and fond furry memories await you! Other things to note, guests will be walking on unpaved and sandy paths and should not be wearing flip flops or open-toed shoes.
Reiki in the Red Rocks
Allow the energy of a Sedona Vortex to combine with Reiki in an energy healing session! We will begin by taking an approximately 20 minute hike to a vortex in Sedona's red rocks. The Reiki Master will then do movement exercises with you to help the process begin. You will receive an energy healing and chakra balancing as well as a Reiki attunement which will enable you to connect with Reiki energy yourself. This experience is unique to the Sedona area, just being in nature in the red rocks is naturally meditative; connecting to Reiki outdoors enhances the balancing effect. People report feeling a major reset afterwards!
Paint with Crystals for Chakra Healing
We will talk about our chakra centers and how they can prevent the flow of energy when they are blocked. There are specific crystals that align with each of the seven chakra energy centers. We will talk about where you might have blockages and pick the specific crystals that correlate to those energy centers. We will use these crystals in a powdered to a finely crushed form to add to our paint. We will talk about different symbols, images or even the red rocks and decide on a subject that is special to you and paint with the added crystals. It's also possible to do a red rock painting with all the chakra energy crystals and you can go home with a memento of Sedona! Through this experience we will be doing some meditation and inner work to heal and it will manifest through your painting. Afterwards we will talk about any feelings and/or transformation that has occurred if you are comfortable in sharing. It would be encouraged to write down any insights you might have. This is an experience that is very personal to each person. We will be painting with water based acrylic paints on an 8”x 10” primed wood panel. You are also welcome to paint from a photograph if you so choose. I will break down the painting process into very easy basic steps. You don’t need to know how to draw to take this class. I have a lot of experience and used to teach art to children.
